MAS was founded by James B. Potter after many years in the broadcast and private land mobile radio industry practicing as an engineer and consultant. He has designed, constructed, and maintained broadcast and law enforcement radio systems around the country. He graduated from Drexel University in 1970 with hybrid degree in Electrical Engineering and Business. He obtained his amateur radio license at age 13 and FCC First Class Commercial license at age 16, and used it to work his way through college serving radio stations throughout the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area. Experience gleaned during his lifelong radio career and intimate knowledge of the FCC Rules qualifies Mr. Potter to perform station audits.
