Adult Ministries

At Christ Community Church we believe that growing in our relationship with Christ is a lifelong process.  We offer numerous ministries aimed at helping adults mature in their faith.  So wherever you are in your spiritual journey, we have resources to help you explore and grow in your faith.

Sunday School Classes

Not only do we have an excellent offering of Sunday School classes for our children and youth, we also offer a variety of classes for adults each Sunday between the two services.  Typically there will be a class focused on studying a book of the Bible and another class exploring what the Bible has to say about a given topic.  In addition, we offer Sunday school classes to minister to the needs of our Pathfinders group.

Men's Ministries

The men of Christ Community Church meet regularly together for a simple purpose: to become better men.  God has given us huge responsibilities with our families, in our church, and in our community.  If we are going to become men of integrity, men God wants us to be, and live for the things that really matter, we need each other. 

Women's Ministries

The aim of our women's ministries is to encourage women in their desire to know and love God more completely and have that love overflow into their relationships with others.  This is accomplished through Bible studies and an emphasis on building relationships during monthly special events.

Small Groups

At Christ Community Church we believe the most effective setting for personal encouragement and spiritual growth is within a small group. Because we view small groups as vital to the health of our church, and its mission of making obedient followers of Jesus Christ, a variety of groups are available. People are encouraged to participate in small groups so they can benefit from opportunities for personal sharing, Bible study, prayer, building relationships, and receive support and counsel as needed.

MAKS (Mothers and Kids)

MAKS is an organization for mothers of young children.  We desire to minister to the hearts of mothers and to encourage and nurture them in their personal and family lives.  We meet the first and third Tuesday of each month between Sept and May, from 10-Noon at the church.

Prayer

We take seriously both the commands and promises God has given us concerning prayer.  In fulfilling our church's mission statement that "prayer will be our foremost task” we offer numerous opportunites to be prayed for and to pray for others. Through our Under-Shepherd ministry every regular attendee of Christ Community Church is uplifted in prayer  each week. 

Pathfinders

If you're in your 20's or 30's Pathfinders is for you.  Pathfinders is aimed at young families but includes singles and couples without kids.  Aside from having a regular Sunday school class, Pathfinders has regular fellowship gatherings and fun activities throughout the year.  This dynamic group gives you a place to belong if you're looking for a community to be a part of after college but before middle age.

Special Classes

From time to time we offer special classes based on the needs and interests of our congregation.  Recently we have offered classes like Alpha and Financial Peace University on Sunday evenings.  Check here for what classes might be currently offered or coming soon.
