About: A Personal Testimony

I was raised in a wonderful Christian home. I accepted the Lord as my Savior and was baptized by age 11. This, however, did not keep me from 20 years of tribulation, including a period of a “Job type” experience. I would like to share an experience I had in December 2003 in Kodiak, Alaska.

The Lord Celebrated With Me That Night

One night I had a spiritual breakthrough, an amazing moment when I understood and heard the Lord loud and clear. It was a very dark night with clear skies and the stars were shinning brightly. While driving in my car I was SHOUTING to the Lord in praise. I said “LORD, thank you for all the people you placed in my life, and waiting for me to listen. Why don’t you top this night off with a falling star” and as I spoke those words and pointing through the windshield of my car, at the tip of my finger THE STAR FELL. My LORD heard ME! I’ll never forget that night. I recall that moment often when I have struggles, it helps me remember he’s listening to me, and no matter how small and insignificant I may feel at times…I know that my GOD has me in His care.
